As these first couple weeks come in Thailand come to a close, I am beginning to miss my home, my family, my Alexander Zandie Pants, my perfect littles, and my DZ sisters. To keep any homesick thoughts away, you gotta stay busy with exciting new adventures. We travel to the province of Krabi this upcoming weekend! Krabi lies on the west coast of southern Thailand at the mouth of the Krabi River where it empties in Phang Nga Bay. As of 2010 the town had a population of 52,867. Much of the province has been given over to several national parks because it is an area with a lush region of jungles, limestone karsts and mangrove forest. Buddhist shrines still used by local monks are tucked into the chambers of Tiger Cave, which we plan on visiting while in Krabi. Khao Kanab Nam, two slanting hills rising out of water, form a local landmark. I am so looking forward to this visit to yet another paradise!
