Midpoint at Mahidol

Sorry this is going to be a boring one...but we have reached the half-way point in the semester! 6 of 12 weeks total. So you know what that means...midterms! Don't be frightened, because I somehow only had one test to take out of all of my classes. A miracle? Nah! Don't ask how I managed to swing that, let's just say I made my professors an offer they couldn't refuse. Surprise, I'm the Godfather. Just kidding! The midterm exam went well after a couple long days of studying. I knew I had to do well on it because, well, I had no other excuse to do poorly considering there was only one of them. I have remained very happy overall with my courses, and am learning so much through studying international business in a different country. In this way, I am able to truly focus on a global perspective and non-biased view of business and of the global market.
The campus, though enormous, has slowly become more familiar to me. Tons of expansion is taking place around Mahidol very quickly, including a new International College complex. If you do not own a bike or motor bike to get around the school, Mahidol provides free and open-air buses that are always very colorful and toy-like in appearance. I take the free Bundit apartment bus to get to and from campus. Speaking of my apartment, the building is filled with a combination of local Thai's and a few international students from my program, which makes it social at appropriate times, but quiet during the times I need to study. Apart from the dust bunnies that seem to accumulate out of thin air in my room, I have found Bundit a very nice place to live. So sad to see time flying by so quickly!
